I miss last year and the start of 2015 a bit., The small collection of games I owned were the best or most talked about on the console and always felt like I was part of the discussion on most of the ps4 games. In the last few months the catalogue has become so expansive that I am missing more games than Im playing due to a lack of time and its a bit sad. Does anyone else think like that?

Happens to me every gen since PS2. Honestly you can't let it bother you just play the games you really really really want to and play the others when you have time. That's part of the reason I still hang onto my old systems. Heck I still have PS one games that I want to play still and haven't lol.

I don't think like that, though it may be because I'm younger. I'm really the opposite, since I don't get alot of games because I don't have alot of money. I can see where you're coming from, but right now I'd rather have too many games than only getting a few a year.
Heck, you don't have to get every game under the sun or on release day. Just get what you're interested in.

I have no time to play even only the best games, but it's OK since it means I buy them several weeks after their release, saving money and playing them patched.
I was thinking this, although I do think the pro's out way the cons, but I'd certainly like there to be less for me to plough through at the moment!!
Destiny and MGS5 alone are taking all of my play time right now and smaller, yet worthy titles, are slipping through the net. I'm not sure I'd have played the likes of Valiant Hearts/Fez/Transistor so thoroughly if they were to be released now.
I guess it pays to remember that those games releasing now don't suddenly become worthless if not picked up during the launch window, and you can always go back to them. Gamings meant to be fun so I try not worry about what I'm putting the hours into as long as I'm enjoying it. So, no regrets for spending the last 2 weeks caning Destiny, basically.
@DerMeister: I did love it when I was younger (not sure how young you are, but I'm talking 13-14) as I'd get a game every 3-4 months and basically live on it. Now I can get 3-4 a month and my focus is all over the place!
@kyleforrester87 I'm 20, but ever since I was 14 I had trouble getting games because of a financial rut I was living in. Getting my PS3 in 2012 was a godsend because until that point I was just playing PS2 games over and over. I used to trade my games in, but I didn't think it was worth it really. While I'm better financially now, most of the cash still goes to necessities (as it should), so I still don't feel right asking for games.

@DerMeister: Fair enough - I do remember when I was 18-20 still playing through the likes of SotC, TR: Anniversary and Fahrenheit pretty comprehensively since I didn't have much disposable income back then either. I also had a bit more free time!
It's a shame that we all aren't playing inFamous: Second Son as it comes out now, but having more games to choose from is better. Plus, when a game slips by you - you can pick it up later for cheap. This is really the first I've ever heard this complaint. It is an interesting thought that we aren't all talking about the same few games though.
I have no time, and i always go back to CS:GO so im not buying many more games nowadays
Only Phantom Pain and now Mario Maker, and i dont see myself buying any more games from the time being (i need to save for vacations also), maybe my brother will gift me Fallout 4 or Uncharted Collection.
@Faruko: CS:GO, eh? How you finding that? Did you play any of the earlier versions? I was really into 1.3 up to Source, tried GO but I found it pretty horrible with a pad.
@kyleforrester87: Ive been playing CS for years, and GO was pretty awful in their first year went back to Source after that, now they have patched it to death and fixed MANY MANY issues, its now a great game and super enjoyable
@kyleforrester87: Nonno, im playing on PC with mouse (but i do f*** around with a pad on servers and stuff, not on matchamking), i heard the Console version was left untouched after the release, they only cared abou the PC version.
