Have to really dig in the memory banks on this one. In no particular order:

Maybe it got discussed somewhere already but what exactly is the point of mentioning non exclusive games? How can a multiplatform game be "the best Playstation game of all time"?

@Grimwood: coz it's a game playable on the PlayStation, no?

@Grimwood: As its a minefield. I don't know what the worry is though, last time out Final Fantasy 7, Zelda OOT and MGS 1 won the top 3 places in the overall best game of all rime. We are all clever enough to know for instance that Halflife is better on PC or Skyrim is better on xbox and I have confidence in the people voting will acknowledge that.

This is the fifth time out running a cup of this type and having difficult to manage rules ruins it as we start arguing about what should and shouldn't be allowed, and to be honest those games usually don't make it to the end. Have you picked your 8?

Edit - Just noticed you did thanks for voting. Honestly Im tallying them up now - doing this for exclusives would kill me haha.

@Mookysam unfortunately FF6 cant be counted as its definitive edition was on the snes. The positive is you get to pick another game!

@postmanpatinator The ND Collection is a game collection I am afraid and as votes have gone to the games individually we have to take that out - but you get to pick another game!

All in order of popularity then alphabetical - You wont see these games for a while.

Round 1 starts on the 1st of March. These initial games are the games only picked once. Everyday there will be 4 battles - the winner goes through to round 2, and the losers go through to the loser bracket. The following day the 4 losers will battle in the loser bracket with 1 going through to round 2 and the rest out for ever. By My terrible maths that should took approximately 35ish days. If that sounds complicated, it is not and will be easy to follow once we are there. Thanks everyone for voting so far.

For this prolouge round any one who hasn't voted is more than welcome to. Voting closes on the afternoon of the 29th February.
