Well got a few levels today on my Demon Hunter so she's at 57 now.
Just want to ask you guys for your opinion. Regarding the gifts you get from people on your friend list do you guys open them with a lower level character to help level them up or do you save them for when you hit 70?

I saved them to help get the "up all night to get lucky" trophy. Ha the timing of that outage was the worst! Oh well. Will keep an eye out for everyone over the weekend.

what happened to you yesterday? You missed out on an epic battle. We took on a boss with 5min 20 to go and literally had 6 seconds left when it died. We badly missed a 3rd player. @Tasuki I open everything as soon as I can

I am a legendary Diablo 3 player. Hardcore until I die
The first time I completed it on PC was a blind hardcore run - Back then I was one of very few people to get to Torment difficulty and survive a considerable time and then swifty went on to be the first to beat it.
Anyway, I have it on PS4 but I have only solo played so far - any Hardcore players that wan't to play ?

I died so much I ran out of potions and money to repair my armour. But you can tag along if you want.

Played a bit of Diablo tonight and man were the legendaries dropping for me weird thing was though I got 4 legendary belts in a row . Not quite sure what that was about. Just about to hit 70 on my Demon Hunter as well. Demon Hunter totally kicks butt once you hit 60.

I started Hardcore with Crusader the other night. Just finished act one with no real problems. Slightly worries me. I suffer from anxiety too so I think the further I get into the game I'm gonna become a bag of nerves.
Contrary to Tasuki, I've got four characters to level 70 and I don't reckon I've had more than twenty legendaries drop between them. One night I found about six or seven but since then... zip.

Thing with Diablo is everything is alright for hours on end as you smash through hordes and then boom, suddenly something stupid kills you. My hardcore died at level 60ish, I was having no problems at all but didn't even have time to reach for a health potion. It'll catch you if you get cocky Ultimately I think playing hardcore is the only way to keep the game interesting. I've played for many hours but with no punishment at all for death it does get a bit meh. I mean I'm not asking for Dark Souls level of difficulty but even a slap on the wrist would be nice.
As far as legendaries I seem to get one each time I play..not that it's necessarily better than what I'm using. I do seem to get a load of them at once when I come back after not playing for a while though. Maybe it's the games way to sucker you back in!

I've died an awful lot on Adventure Mode purely because I just can't be bothered moving. There's no real punishment for dying so never feared it. I may lose my XP bonus if I have one but whoopdedoo.
I've just killed Maghda before writing this and it was the first time my health has dropped lower than 60%-ish, and even that was because she was almost dead so I just moved in for the kill. I'm deliberately trying to be more cautious (crusader's shield bash and horse are handy to get away from a scrap) but I'm very impatient. If I die at level 60 I don't think I'll try again for a good long while. Knowing my luck I'll die on level 69 after one of those enemies who killed your friends appears.

If I'm playing softcore I'll keep cranking the difficulty up for the xp bonuses. If hardcore I just keep the difficulty lower for longer It's deffinetly the impatience that will kill you. Or 2-3 of those enemies that blow up stacked on top of each other that you forget hurt you when they die!
I'm deliberately on normal hardcore as I'm a trophy whore and want the Plat :') Think after that when I play again or doing hardcore rifts I'm just going to go hell for leather and have a proper go at the the harder settings.

Yeah you gotta love the RGN when it comes to Diablo III. I will go for days without getting any legendaries and then bam next time I play I get anywhere from 3 to 6.

Got the same axe six times last night in the same dungeon (the one where you find Shen) and each one had worse stats than the last. Gave it to the Templar and let him create cow ghosts warriors. Three words I never thought I'd put together and want to now use more often.

Yep I got a few of those myself although the stats weren't too bad so I ended up using it for awhile.

Don't mean to go off the rails but why you trading it in? This games gunna keep on giving. Seems you set yourself a few deadlines on Destiny too? Don't mean to sound rude, but what's that all about?! lol

Its so I can move on. I'm quite compulsive when I comes to older games. And also because of work and family I dont have the time to keep going back. Also if I trade I will get sufficient coinage to buy a newer game like the order or Bloodbourne or the show without putting much extra money in. Ive had my fun, it would now be a case of going through the motions to pick up trophies. Diablo, trials and dragon age will all be getting traded so I can concentrate on ff, destiny, rogue legacy, driveclub, guacamolee and whatever new game I pick up.
