@graymamba You got me curious what the guide says. Apparently 2 playthroughs and 120 hours, I was halfway through my first play at that time š. Still my third was about 50ish hours quicker than the first 2.
@BearsEatBeets there maybe some differences from guide to guide tbh, as I think I looked at one that said 200. I generally allow myself some latitude of 15%-20% though, so Iād imagine Iād be up around the 250 hour mark if not more tbh.
Anyway, I did start Divinity: Original Sin 2 way back when and i think I popped a bronze or two, so Iād definitely want to go finish that off before taking on the magnum opus⦠so itāll be a while for sure.
Cronos: The New Dawn - Platinum achieved! For anyone else going for the platinum, all collectibles are tracked and everything carries over in New Game + so you can do it in two runs, just be sure to finish your first run with a set of specific essences. Other than that, itās pretty straightforward. A truly great game!
Another one done with Alan Wake 2. I left some thoughts on 'games completed ' thread but basically not as good as I thought it would be but enjoyable enough. Weird trophy count in that you get 80 odd bronze trophies but not a single gold?!
Beautiful game (speaking in terms of both its storyline and overall presentation) with a very comfortable and enjoyable trophy list. I was disappointed to learn that it wasn't a bigger hit than it was, as I would have been interested in a follow-up.

#124:Lara Croft Tomb Raider: Anniversary (PS5)
This new PS2 Classic re-release was a real nice surprise. Unlike the similarly re-released Legend, it doesn't simply clone the trophy list from the PS3 HD version (and thank goodness for that, because those Time Trials are no joke). A very pleasant platinum for a very pleasant game.
Since it's been a while, I thought I'd also share my current trophy totals...

First up, the Suikoden remasters. It was an absolute joy to play through these games again. I tried out characters I've never used before and basically took my time to explore the world in full, as though it was the first time again. Bliss.
I realised I've not gained many plats this year, so I had a look at a list of quick platinums amd settled on Indika, which I've been meaningtoplay for a while. An odd game whose message I'm still processing.
Good job, Parappa. You can go on to the next stage now.
@Gremio108 I have a friend who's a big Suikoden fan, so I've seen a lot of screenshots and clips from those recent remasters thanks to him and I gotta say, it looks like they did a real nice job! Glad you enjoyed, and congratulations on the platinum(s)!

@Werehog Yeah they've done a great job. I've seen a few rumbles of discontent from some corners of the internet regarding the sprites but I love the look of these new versions. It just reinforced how special these games are to me.
Good job, Parappa. You can go on to the next stage now.
@Gremio108 My friend told me there'd been fan grumbles, yeah. Happens to everything. There's always gonna be somebody out there who takes issue with an artistic upgrade, especially when it doesn't align with what they had in their head (either individually, or collectively as a community). The most important thing is, playing the remasters successfully re-captured your original feelings and emotions, and that is a lot less common. I'm so pleased they worked for you!

@Spectralmews If you don't mind an incomplete platinum collection, Shadow of the Tomb Raider doesn't have any multiplayer trophies. It's why I have its platinum, but not the others.

@Spectralmews@Werehog you can get the Rise of⦠plat without mp too⦠the trophy guide is very misleading as the only actual mp trophies are dlc related.
@graymamba Ah yeah, that's the co-op mode they added, isn't it? Comes with a separate list.
My OCD won't let me platinum a game that I can't get a 100% trophy percentage for, but it's still good to know for folks who don't have that problem. Thanks for the reminder!
