@Th3solution I’d be lying if I said I knew, I can only remember a post apocalyptic looking city environment and some groovy looking robots. I’ll be starting from scratch, I’m really excited.
@colonelkilgore Ta bud, has the soundtrack been bettered for you yet? Hope you’re doing well 👍
@AgentCooper yeah busy but good mate, hope all is well with you and yours too.
In regards to anything topping the Nier: Automata OST… I don’t think it has tbh mate. I was blown away by the FFXVI OST this year and that of God of War: Ragnarok last year but I’d still have to go with Nier: Automata just got the sheer originality and creativity… so good!
I fancied a first person dungeon crawler and on PS4 it turns out there ain't exactly a whole of choice in that department so I ended getting Mary Skelter Finale.
Holy crap they weren't kidding with saying it'll help get you up to speed if you haven't played the first two gamrs as it seemingly has EVERY single cutscene from them. Not to mention some story novels, the soundtracks, artwork and all sorts.
Good grief I'll be here forever before I start up the game proper!!!

@Zuljaras Truly saving the best for last My personal favorite, even over the almighty Elden Ring.
Sekiro is one of a kind, and I love how From actually deviate somewhat (but not too much!) from their trademark schtick...
Some of the finest boss battles in From's entire portfolio, alongside a beautiful 'simplicity' to the game - no worrying about builds/stats, just learn the mechanics and be prepared for punishment
I bought Inscryption which I've been meaning to get for a while now and I picked up a little South Korean indie title called Lost Ruins which is a pixel based metroidvania that I played the demo of and rather enjoyed.
@HallowMoonshadow I’ve been meaning to play Inscryption and can’t seem to find a window of time yet. Let me know what you think if you get to it before me!

Ha I've already given it a short go @Th3solution. Helps I've played a bit of the Pokémon card game, Yu-Gi-Oh and Magic so I'm already pretty familiar with TCG's.
It's very reminescent of early YGO with a focus on sacrificing cards to play better cards. Just in a creepy cabin... With roguelike elements and... Other things that already seem like spoilers to talk about despite only playing a few rounds. It's certainly unique!!
I'm actually hoping that it's still on the docket for the game club. It's admitedly the only one that interests me on the list and I'd like to take part again with everyone after doing my own thing for months on end
@HallowMoonshadow@Th3solution Inscryption is magnificent. I’d only heard people saying good things about it but the art style of all things kept putting me off.
I’m so glad I played it though as it’s an incredibly addictive game and one that continuously messes with you. A real unique game and I’d love to see some of his other games on consoles.
Getting the platinum for that one was a real challenge though! One of the last ones is a real doozy and kept sucking me back in to play again and again.
@HallowMoonshadow I’ve kept voting for it for Game Club every month for the last several months. 😅 It seems you and I are the only ones interested in it.
The games we’ve done instead have been great though, to be fair. Disco Elysium was another game I’d had in the backlog for ages and needed a little nudge to get me to play it. Same with The Quarry, and Stray. And even though I didn’t quite click with Death’s Door, I might go back to it someday. And Humanity and Tchia were pleasant surprises that I likely never would have given a second look but ended up liking, especially Tchia. I do wish I would have participated with Alan Wake since now the sequel is getting all this attention and I haven’t played the first yet. I also wanted to try Artful Escape but alas, this month has been all Christmas chaos and Final Fantasy XVI.
Well, if I can get my life together then maybe I’ll start it soon and we can have our own little separate Game Club, like didn’t we do that for Danganronpa V3? 😄
That certainly brings back the memories @Th3solution! You, me and kid playing through V3! Least til I got sick and ducked out for a few months near the end before eventually re-doing it!
Sounds like a plan if the rest of actual game club isn't interested! Provided your life gets together of course

@HallowMoonshadow Ok, cool — I’ll keep you posted. Life is nowhere near together at this point, but with the holidays over maybe things calm down. I just never know! 😄

@TOUGHDUDE94@Bentleyma was my first ever Final Fantasy back during lockdown and after an initial bedding in period (in which I thought what the actual **** am I playing?!?!), I ended up loving it.
