@Bad-MuthaAdebisi @Splat love the extra space as well, but mine does make a loud beep from time to time.

Mine does that sometimes when I shut the PS4 off.

@Elodin: @Splat: only just installed mine, pleased to find out I didn't even need to mess about with a laptop, transfered the 3.11 update via micro sd USB converter stick thingy. It seems to be running fine.

@kyleforrester87 I bought Seagate 2 TB backup slim external hard drive. Not sure if you are US or not but it was $60. I just opened the external hard drive casing and took out the hard drive. Many videos on how to do it on Youtube. Similar to what @Bad_MuthaAdebisi did. It might even be the same hard drive. The reason for buying the external is that it is about 1/2 the cost of just buying the internal hard drive alone. On top of that you can than insert your old hard drive into the casing and have a 500gb external hard drive.

Ideally I hope Sony allow External storage devices. My 500GB internal is already full and I can't see a 2TB internal being adequate either not in the life time I expect this console to last. I could very easily fill 2TB with the games on my wanted list let alone any unannounced or IGC games that I may want. My XB1 has a 5TB external as well as the 500GB internal and I really hope Sony updates its OS to accept external HDD's. USB3.0 is actually faster than SATA for data transfer and currently no drive is capable of maxing out the transfer speed - its actually limited to the drives speed and reading capabilities. Also that would mean I could just buy additional storage as and when required without having to constantly delete and reinstall games as well as its far more convenient than switching internal drives, downloading the OS from a PC/Laptop to USB and installing that etc etc. I could just keep the internal for the OS and have all my software (games, saves, DLC and updates) all on the external. Also if anything happened to my console OR Sony bring out a special edition, redesign etc that I really like/want, its very easy to transfer all my games to it without having to reinstall, re-update, re-download DLC etc as well as all my save data too.

A pessimist is just an optimist with experience!

Why can't life be like gaming? Why can't I restart from an earlier checkpoint??

Feel free to add me but please send a message so I know where you know me from...

@BAMozzy I was thinking about the ache of it all the other day and thought that with PS Now apparently working smoothly and PS Plus IGC being pants why don't they offer to all PS Plus members the ability to stream PSN store purchased games, then, no need for all the fuss. It's a great idea I think, hopefully it's in the works, perhaps.

Just picked up CoD: Black Ops III and DA: Inquisition. Been playing alot of Blops and Blops II the past few days so I figured what the heck might as well get III and I had a 50 dollar Gamestop card I got for Christmas.

Dragon Age is a different story, Never played one before but I was watching my son play Origins last night on PS3 (ty PS+). It reminded me of WoW a bit with its vast world and combat so for $15 I figured I check out Inquisition hoping that maybe it will scratch that open world RPG feeling I have had for awhile now since quitting WoW.

I've just got Chivalry Medieval warfare of the store for £15 and picked up Batman from Game for £22. Left it this late for Batman because I really like Batman, just not very sure I will enjoy the game... I played Arkham Asylum thought it was really good as it went on but not as amazing as everybody makes out. I also got Arkham City and played around an hour, the open world seemed very empty and put me off (I got it on the 360 which I rarely go back to). So I'll see how I get on with this today, had 4 download codes to put in which were a pain, no doubt ripped of the actual game...

I usually don't pre-order games, but I bought Gravity Rush Remastered for only €27. I'm going to get the game anyway, and this includes shipping, so I won't complain!

inFAMOUS: First Light

I'm actually liking it more then Second Son to be honest. I like Fetch better then Delsin and the Battle Arena is good fun.

Metal gear solid V The phantom pain in the ps store. I found the prolouge very disappointing but now it gets better and better. Impressive graphics and gameplay!

@DestinationPs: I loved the prologue. I reckon the main game itself could have used a few more sections like that to break it up, actually.

I got Life is Strange today (boxed) I figured my girlfriend would like it, I'll watch her play it. It's cool that Mogwai - Kids Will Be Skeletons features, it's probably my all time favourite song!
