@JohnnyShoulder It’s a genuinely thankless job, the level of death threats and such are as bad these days as they were at the height of GamerGate and all that crap.

Welp I've got my confirmation from the courier that my collectors edition is being delivered tomorrow. To my home address. And I'm at work. 😬

I hope there's like one guy that gives Elden Ring a 6 and drops the Metacritic score because they just want to watch the world burn

@JohnnyShoulder sakes!! Always the way, do I sense the rapid onset of some GI symptoms making travel to work impossible?? My standard edition shipping status hasn't updated from simply games yet, I ordered it in November!! I'm working this weekend anyway but kinda hoped to play Friday night.

@Voltan @R1spam They will either leave it in my porch or with a neighbour. I only live 10 mins away from work, so can dash back if needed and the timing works out OK.

So I WAS going to start as wretch, but it looks like they’re not actually the best for min-maxing because other classes actually have some stats lower, and all have the same total if you account for level.

Wretch would mean that I don’t start with cool armor I keep the whole game and have to find stuff…. Still, now I’m torn.

Side note, related, Arcane says it’s used for some spells, but none from the network test needed it. Do we know if it’s used for more than luck/

@Voltan @R1spam Yeah Simply Games has emailed me to say it has been despatched. And delivery has been changed to my work address!

And no porch pirate's that I'm aware of. The neighbourhood is pretty sound. But still a bit wary of almost 200 quids worth of stuff being left on my porch.
