Apparently my copy will be with me tomorrow sometime between 11:00am and 3:00pm. With the way the two deliveries have panned out, I’m kinda glad I opted to play Horizon Forbidden West first now… as if I’d gone with Elden Ring by booking tomorrow off, I’d be fuming if I didn’t get a chance to play it until 3pm.
I managed to get a couple of hours in, and once I stopped trying to throw Pokeballs at everything.. damn it’s enthralling. There are gunna be some good weekends for people!
@nessisonett I couldn’t do that.. I really struggle playing 2 third person games at once, I can’t jump between the control schemes. I am already struggling trying to play some Pokémon to wind down before bed lol.
I'm very hyped, but souls fanboys are acting like Elden Ring is the best thing they haven't played yet and we know we have contenders remaining (Starfield, GoW, Atlus's Soul Hackers and Zelda).
I was enjoying poking, but people are actually believing Elden Ring will win every game of life poll.
@kyleforrester87 I’ve already had that with Horizon. Having played Valhalla recently and Spider-Man as well, the controls are different in all of those. Elden Ring should be fine though, I mean the network test played identically to Dark Souls 3 after all!
I’ll be venturing into the city tomorrow after work to pick up my copy, so realistically I won’t be playing until Saturday evening. The joys of being a country bumpkin.

Cheers @kyleforrester87. Most of the technical issues I've heard of can be fixed hopefully. Not ideal, but is the world we live in currently. Plus I played cyberpunk 2077 at launch, so that should prepare me for anything lol.
Life is more fun when you help people succeed, instead of wishing them to fail.
Better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak and remove all doubt.
