@Th3solution@Voltan Yeah they definitely have an interesting premise. I'm looking for to see how they choose to deliver the story and if it'll be anything like Hades. Not sure if you guys played or not, but with each subsequent escape attempt a new story chunk is delivered. I wonder if they'll have a similar approach.
@TraCuz-@Voltan I hear a ton of praise for Hades, but haven’t played it either. I seem to recall a lot of people saying it should have received more awards last year
“We cannot solve our problems with the same thinking we used when we created them.”
Just realized Monday after the release is May 3rd, which is a national holiday here in Poland. Longer weekend, baby.
Now I just gotta hope they don’t screw up the delivery on the 30th 🙃
@Th3solution Yeah I probably put about 15-20 hours into Hades, and pick it up here and there. Very fun game, although I'm not as hot on it as a lot of people I definitely see the GOTY potential.
@Th3solution Hades is absolutely brilliant. The fact that it elevated rogue-likes by that much is crazy. It’s like it took the elements of that genre and then filled in the blanks to make it a full proper experience. The story and character interactions are what make the game great which isn’t what you’d expect for a rogue-like. Plus it’s only about £20 😉
@TraCuz-@nessisonett really surprised there’s been no mention of a PS4 version yet... I’m starting to consider wrestling the switch back from the missus just so I can try it!
@nessisonett I honestly didn't know what I was getting into when I got this game, it was so interesting each time you die you learn something new and I always appreciated the dialogue when you pick up boons. Some favorite characters of mine are Nyx, Eurydice, and Chaos. Any favorite builds? I always like having Athena's reflective dash, and putting Zeus and Artemis on my special.
@velio84 Yeah it is a great game to dip in and out of. I liked the humour in it too, with all the pop culture references. Some of the guns are hella fun to muck around with. The Ghostbusters gun has been my fave so far.
@LiterallyDoNotCare Immortals: Fenyx Rising, the Ubisoft game. Not as high profile as some of their others but still sold ok, I think. Aaaaanyway this might not mean much but it doesn’t look too bad 😉
@Voltan Yeah Immortals has dropped in price pretty quickly. I don’t think it sold as well as they wanted. If they kept the name Gods & Monsters it would have sold 20% better 😂. But actually, since it has a free upgrade to PS5, it’s a great deal for a AAA single player PS5 game. It looks pretty good actually, so I have plans to play it sometime after Returnal — probably during the gap until Rift Apart, FF7 Intergrade. and Kena in the summer. Also depends if I mix in Demon’s Souls and Miles Morales at some other quiet point, in addition to my oodles of PS4 backlog games.

Ok I am in, Pre-order done, Can't wait to explore with Selene.
Jeez a lot of people moaning about the price of games under that Days Gone article. It does seem like a lot of people say I'll get it on GP or wait till it appears on PS+ these days, I've always bought my games through official channels, Although I have came late to the party when it comes to certain franchises and developers and gotten great deals but that just means that if there is a new game from those developers I'll jump straight in if I liked what they've done in the past.
@MightyDemon82@velio84 It just a load of whining at this point, I usually just drop my comment and move on. It is a bit sad that you can tell from a mile off what articles its gonna happen to.
Life is more fun when you help people succeed, instead of wishing them to fail.
Better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak and remove all doubt.
