Topic: Eurogamer Expo 2016

Will probably make my way to the expo this year. Its on from the 22nd to the 25yh of September. Any advice on the best day to go?

@themcnoisy: The weekdays are less busy than the weekends, but you should expect it to be rammed for all four days.

@get2sammyb: I will probably go on the Thursday. I hate queuing.

@themcnoisy: Yeah, definitely go earlier in the week if you can. I haven't been to EGX the last couple of years, but the last time I did go, (just before PS4 launched) it was heaving with people - especially on the weekend. I think on the Saturday we actually just went shopping or something instead of going into the expo because it was madness.

Having said that, that was at their old venue; their new one is much bigger, so maybe you won't feel the queues quite so much. And even if you do have to queue for a while, it's still a super fun event and well worth trying at least once. Wish I could make it up to EGX this year, we could've tutted at the queues together!

You'll have a great time regardless of the queues, I'm sure.

@Quintumply: Thanks man, good advice. Shopping in the Bullring in Birmingham is okay, but I would rather avoid that and go for the games! Cool I'm going on opening day.
