Topic: EGX incoming! Anyone coming?

So EGX kicks off on Thursday 22nd is anybody else going and what are you looking forward too?

I'm excited to try Sonic Mania and the PS VR.

I don't even know what that is.

It's basically PAX for the UK.

I'm American, so I can't go, but if Push Square has some coverage on the way, I'll be looking forward to that.

@Tasuki: Its Britains biggest gaming expo, its got some brilliant first hand's on games going on. There's a whole section dedicated to retro games I'm led to believe

Interestingly enough, and I haven't heard anything back from EGX just yet so I don't want to say too much, but we selected a bunch of retro PlayStation games that'll be playable on the show floor. I'll do an article about it if it comes together!

Rise or Iron on the 22nd and on my Jollies the following day. Would love to go one year.

@themcnoisy: @Quintumply: Have you guys booked your PSVR spots? I have and can't wait to try it. Got quite a list of what I'd like to see but also just nice to take a walk around and discover and explore (like a good rpg lol). I've got an interest in COD:IW, DQ: Builders, FFXV, HZD, Sonic Mania, South Park, World of FF, Yooka-Laylee and then just seeing what indies there are.

My bro ( @booshy89: ), Jev and I went last year and had a good time. Just wish we'd taken a rucksack to put merch in and pack up!

@themcnoisy: They released time slots for bookings so you could be guaranteed a place. I'm booked in at 3pm for a half hour slot, I didn't know it was open to people who hadn't booked!? Hopefully for your sake it is. Try the below website maybe:

@themcnoisy: I've double checked the PSVR situation with EGX. Basically, it's both. They've told me that there are walk up slots available, but you can also book ahead of time to avoid big queues etc. The website to book is in mrobinson91's comment above

I will also be in attendance again this year with a few others from the Push Square crew. If you want to get my autograph just send me a message. They're reasonably priced at £10 a pop, and make the perfect present for your friends and family

@Quintumply: I don't think there are any pre-booked appointments left. I had a go last year, so I decided not to book one this time, especially with the release date so close.
