Topic: The Bucket List

Games you have never played although you should have or want to play but probably never will. Games have to be over 2 years old.

I will start us off
Sly Racoon - I should play this due to alot of push⬛ members constantly banging on about it. Am I missing out?
Shining Force 3 - sf2 was my favourite 16bit rpg and as the sequel was released on the Saturn I never played it and probably never will.

Half Life, Deus Ex, Bioshock, Mass Effect series and Final Fantasy VII and Majora's Mask... heard so much about those games... There are just too many new titles coming out every month I want to play, therefore no enough time for oldies!

Sly Raccoon is worth going back to IMO. It holds up better than Jak and Daxter, for example.

I'd quite like to finish FF7. I intended to do it on my PSP, but got bored. Perhaps I will buy the remake for PS4, and finally get around to it. As of yet, I've only finished one Final Fantasy game; 13, and most people say that's not one of the best, though I enjoyed it. So I should like some of the previous ones, right?

I've not many regrets in terms of games I've missed but I'd probably say God of War. Never even seen someone play a GoW game let alone played one myself. I think remasters are coming? If so, I'll jump on that.

Not much else jumps out at me.

@Wesker FF7 PS4 will have trophies so, naturally, you're all over that.

@kyleforrester87 You're in luck. GoW 3 is the best in the series and it's coming to PS4 this summer. It's easily one of the best hack and slash action adventure games ever. Perhaps lacking some of the nuance you'd find in a Bayonetta game, but much better graphics, obviously.

@kyleforrester87 When RE4 came to PS3 it had trophies, but no platinum. If they did the same with FF7 it would be a disappointment. If I have to grind 1000 skeletons or robots or whatever FF7 has to beat a boss, I better get something to show for it

@Wesker play ffx the legacy games are a touch slow (9 backwards) but if you don't like ff7 in the first 3-4 hours you really havnt got a soul. And for the record I played ff13 to completion and then some, its too easy with little customisation and to me its not final fantasy - but its still a great game. Just not as good as ff6-ff10 in my opinion. @mateq its hard to go back to any of those games, mass effect is still playable and relatively new. But half life has aged terribly as has ff7.
