I'm looking for some bargains. I just bought a megadrivr and have alisia dragoon and megagames 1 and hoping to pick up some more games. Buying off Amazon is ok but I would prefer to go to a shop. Anyone know anywhere?

Well I usually buy my retro stuff from a couple of local retro game stores. EBay is a good place to but you need to becareful, make sure the seller has a high rating. If you want more offline options I suggest checking out yard sales, thrift stores and even swap meets and flea markets.

I don't buy too many retro games anymore, but when I did I usually had to use the internet because there are literally no retro game stores even remotely close to where I live.
I use ebay or amazon. There is a small market stall as well but that 1 place in a very large city. Shame there aren't more options really. Any cheap deals there are seem to get snapped up quickly and re-sold on ebay where I live.
I love the Wii U. Switch is getting better.
Where are the Dreamcast, Saturn, GC emulations?
All time favourite consoles are Master System, Atari 2600 & 3DO.
I use to buy physics retro games but when it's too expensive I go more & more on mobile & tablets games, cause they are porting more & more trtro games (last one I see was Ys Chronicles (from psp) on mobile and tablets. Very good port and I hope I'll see more of them come. In another way, I use Steam & gog to have any others..
I find most of them on Facebook groups, or dedicated retrogaming sites.
When I don't find what I'm looking for, I usually go on mobiles stores or Steam to find a port or a remake. Very usefull and cheap to buy those ported games
I was told about a place called level up on Renshaw street in Liverpool today by a colleague. Its called level up and I can buy a snes for £40-50 I've been told. Lets check it out. Will report back tomorrow.

When you are buying retro consoles do you need to replace parts inside? I know with the Amiga's you should replace the capicitors as they tend to have not lasted as long as they should have.
@dryrain: That just goes with the territory. Most tech needs maintenance.

So sad news for me, my local retro game store (and the last decent place to get retro games at a fair price) has recently been aquired by new owners. Sad thing is it lost the ma and pa feel to it.
I use to be able to go in b.s. with the employees there and buy stuff at a good price. Now when I went there today, all the familiar faces I knew were gone replaced with a bunch of young kids wearing matching uniforms who weren't even alive when most of these systems came out. I tried to strike up a conversation and they didn't want to chit chat they were all business. And to make matters worst, what was once 5 and 10 dollar games are now 20 to 50 dollar. Even a used copy of Left 4 Dead on Xbox 360 they wanted $44.95 for it.
From what I gather the new owner is an ex marine so thats probably why they act all business. I am guessing he was looking for an investment and figured like every other bozo out there I can make millions in the retro game market.
Sadly now it seems if I want retro games now, I will have to stick to online from now on.
