All of the new PS Plus games for February 2025 can be downloaded and played now, but you may be wondering which ones deserve your attention? While there were only 12 new titles added across all tiers this month, we’ve picked out a handful we strongly recommend.
All of these games earned at least a 7/10 on the site, or come with our personal seal of approval. If you’re looking for something new to play, then you really can’t go wrong with any of these.
Remember, you can find a full list of All PS Plus Games through the link, and if you need more recommendations, then you can refer to our constantly updated Best PS Plus Games list as well.
Pac-Man World Re-Pac (PS5)
Pac-Man World Re-Pac is a modern remake of the classic PS1 platformer. Placing Namco's iconic character into a three-dimensional adventure, the game is packed with charm thanks to its simple but satisfying platforming and some inventive bosses. If you're looking for a platformer with old school design and contemporary visuals, this should serve you nicely.

Patapon 3 (PSP)
The third and final game in Japan Studio's well-loved rhythm RPG saga, Patapon 3 lacked the novelty of its predecessors and implemented some slightly controversial changes, such as the Uberhero who represents the drum leader as opposed to the omniscient god from previous entries. Despite these criticisms, the gameplay is still top-notch and the psychedelic visuals as mesmerising as ever.
Star Wars Jedi: Survivor (PS5)
Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is the direct sequel to Fallen Order, and it's a bigger and better game in every way. It builds upon the previous title's successes — engaging lightsaber combat, semi-linear environment design — while improving on areas that needed attention. The story takes some major steps forward, protagonist Cal's character is developed meaningfully, and his supporting cast is far more interesting overall. Throw on top a hub area that gradually changes over time, oodles of optional content, and one or two awesome set pieces, and you have a truly great game, whether you're into Star Wars or not.
Tin Hearts (PS5)
A Lemmings-inspired experience with an unexpectedly poignant plot, Tin Hearts takes you inside the home and memories of protagonist Albert J Butterworth through the most innocent of childhood items: toys. With over 50 levels, slick presentation, and even optional PSVR2 support, this is a well-designed and wonderfully memorable little puzzler.
TopSpin 2K25 (PS5)
After an outrageous 13 year absence, TopSpin 2K25 finally brought back the tennis sim sports fans had long been waiting for. While the final product has a weak roster and some rough edges, it's largely successful in repurposing the fantastic gameplay from fan favourite Top Spin 4, and it provides a great foundation for Hangar 13 to build from in the future.

Pac-Man World Re-Pac. Heck yeah.
@TheDudeKenobi I went to an Arcade for the first time in years last weekend (one price play as much as you like) and in among the more exciting things you can't experience at home easily, like Afterburner Climax, the game I kept going back to play was OG Pac-man. It's still got it 45 years later! Will give this a bash.
@themightyant I love OG Pac-Man but my GOAT is Ms. Pac-Man
Heads up if you're a trophy hunter and you want to plat Pac-Man World there's a trophy in there to make it to Stage 10 in OG Pac-Man. This is no easy feat with the standard amount of lives only at your disposal. Good luck!
I’m confused, though I am aware that isn’t difficult, how an entire article about PS+ can be written without containing any of the words Essential, Extra or Premium. You’d think at least 1 of those 3 would have to be present to make the article make sense.🤷🏻♂️
It’s like one of those: Here’s everything new on streaming this month - articles without ever mentioning Netflix, Apple or Max.
@rjejr There's literally an "available on: [tier]" at every game mentioned.
So this report is basically reporting “go play most of this months games”, then attaches affiliate links to all the games. Shameless advertising spin on this one I have to say pushsquare! Got to make those pennies somehow I suppose
The 2 I was most interested in this month don't get a mention, Lost records (started it and enjoying it very much from what I've played) and Somerville.
PAC man just isn’t for me, I’m glad it exists and it seems well made but not my thing at all. Jedi Survivor I bought in the last sale and haven’t played yet (my stepson is really into it though!) and as for Topspin? Two words and the second one is “off”. I do not play those sorts of games. So not a great month personally but I can see why some are happy about it.
Really tho, tennis? Who cares?
I am going full LEGO Batman and Death Stranding. Will try Pac Man though, not a big fan of star wars and the size of the file ...sheesh.
@eM1x029 The week I originally bought Jedi Survivor was the same week I finally got fibre broadband installed (and hardwired to the console). Not a hope was I installing that over my old connection.
Also, didn't except to see Burzum's "Filosofem" on Push Square.
Removed - unconstructive feedback
Was gonna try Jedi star wars out, saw file size of 140GB and decided against it
It's not that I have slow internet or enough space but 140GB file sizes are ridiculous
Still working on Ragnarok. I'll think about these later.
The tennis game is absolute pants - Jedi and Pacman are the only 2 moderately playable games if they're your thing, am currently enjoying The First Descendant instead though.
@rjejr It'd be like saying you can pay to buy this video on Amazon or pay to stream it on Apple but neglecting to mention that it's free on YouTube.
Always enjoy a good tennis game but not for $40. So I’ll give Top Spin a whirl. Pac re Pac is a good game already grabbed that. Star Wars file is tremendous like Call of Duty big, so I’ll just add to library for now and download it down the road.
TopSpin 2K25? oh really? I bought Tennis Elbow 4 and it is a much better game than that, it also has a mod that includes the real names of all the tennis players since the time of Ilie Năstase.
@joey302, you have Tennis Elbow 4 for less money.
@MrPeanutbutterz Sorry for the late reply. Yes, I can see the horror of 150gigs (or was it 140...?!) over WiFi. I have fibre net by default ( and luckily for free) and think about it, only in very rare occasions when it's for maintenance for couple of hours. It's a joy (the connection, not the maintenance).
About BURZUM, well, tbh I didn't expect anyone here to actually know it, congrats, You're the first!
