Rescue the Professor is Case 2-2 of Dead Rising 1, and tasks Frank with saving Barnaby after he's spotted being kidnapped on the CCTV cameras in the Security Room. Having spotted Barnaby being taken away by Carlito on the CCTV cameras, you'll need to rush over to the Entrance Plaza to save him. Exit the Security Room into Paradise Plaza and Otis will radio to tell you the shutter blocking access between Paradise Plaza and the Entrance Plaza has been lifted, making it much easier to complete this Case. Before you go there, stock up on healing items and weapons — both for a short and long-range encounter.

When you reach the Entrance Plaza, a cutscene will introduce the scenario: Carlito is back for another boss fight and Barnaby is being hung, dangling above zombies. Carlito needs to be the focus, so refer to our How to Beat Carlito page for more guidance. After the fight, Brad will be injured and you'll need to go on a Medicine Run for Case 2-3.
