Having found Larry down in the Meat Processing Area, he's got Carlito hooked up to his meat grinder and doesn't initially perceive Frank as an enemy. If you don't attack him, he simply stands there. The problem is he's got Carlito slowly being dragged to his demise, so you've got to do something about that. Equipped with a giant meat cleaver, Larry will perform general swipes and overhead attacks with the sharp blade. These are easy to avoid, but not so much are the animal carcasses he removes from their hooks within the room to throw at you. These deal heavy damage — you'll lose three blocks of health — so must be avoided with dodges.

Also look out for the smaller knives he throws at you, a ram charge, and a move where he hangs Frank from a hook. We strongly recommend going into the fight with some healing items already in your inventory, but there are also some milk cartons to pick up in the room itself.

On your end, if you've been following our Walkthrough, you should be nicely stocked with guns. We suggest taking a Shotgun or two into the fight to make this encounter a lot easier for you. If you don't have any, consider picking some up from the Huntin' Shack in the North Plaza. The Submachine Gun above the door leading to the Warehouse in Paradise Plaza works too. Keep your distance and land your shots carefully; Larry seems to have a small invisibility phase right after every time he's damaged, so you don't need to load into him fully.

If he goes to pick up an animal carcass, try and put some of them that are still hung up between you and Larry. This will stop the carcass from going anywhere when he throws it. Besides that, most of his attacks aren't particularly effective and you can dodge his attacks while landing your own. It'll take a lot of bullets or melee swings, but stick with it and you'll have Larry defeated eventually. Do it before Carlito gets grinded up and the Case will progress.
