Long Haired Punk is a Scoop you'll receive on Day 3 of Dead Rising 1, and has Frank fight another Psychopath, who can actually be saved and tuned into a Survivor. I spotted a guy with long hair over in one of the women's clothing shops in Wonderland Plaza. He's holdin' a Molotov Cocktail... You'd better be careful... — Otis

As Otis' description of the man you're about to meet would suggest, you're about to fight another Psychopath. However, this one's quite different from the rest — you can actually save them. Head on over to Casual Gals in Wonderland Plaza and enter the store to trigger a cutscene. For more information on this encounter, refer to our How to Beat Paul guide.

After defeating him, Paul will set himself on fire with his own Molotov Cocktail. At this point, grab one of the nearby Fire Extinguishers and put the fire out. Simply point it at the fire and eventually it'll stop burning and Paul will still be alive. We had the Fire Extinguisher down at around 25% until the flames subsided. Doing so turns Paul into a Survivor, and allows you to rescue him along with Debbie and Mindy. Use the shortcut from Wonderland Plaza to Paradise Plaza to get them back to the Security Room quickly.
