Shadow of the North Plaza is a Scoop you'll receive on Day 1 of Dead Rising 1, and tasks Frank with getting a Survivor called David Bailey back to the Security Room. You can make your way to the North Plaza by either crossing Leisure Park and then heading west through North Plaza to the purple question mark on your map, or by using the shortcut revealed in Out of Control from Paradise Plaza to Wonderland Plaza. Either way, the purple question mark on your map denotes where this Scoop begins.

When you get there, you'll find David on the ground and have to talk to him multiple times to convince him to join you. Due to his injured leg, you need to offer him your shoulder and essentially carry him back to the Security Room. Again, this trip is made significantly easier — and much shorter — if you've opened up the shortcut between Wonderland Plaza and Paradise Plaza.
