How Do You Solve the Treasure of Sharkmouth Mountain Puzzle in Dragon Age: The Veilguard?
'The Treasure of Sharkmouth Mountain' is a side quest that's found in the Rivain Coast, in a volcanic area of the map that can only be accessed after completing Taash's quest, 'Lair of the Dragon King' later in the game.
Basically, there's a old Grey Warden tower that's locked up tight, and the only way to open the door is to solve a statue-based puzzle. You need to rotate four Grey Warden statues in the right direction to unlock the vault.
Your quest journal advises you to explore the area and find four other statues, which have plaques that give hints as to which direction each of the puzzle statues should be facing.
This is a big area of the map, and so traipsing across it can be a tall order, especially since some of the enemies respawn if you move far enough away from them (including those tedious demons in the puzzle room).
If you just want to skip the hard part, here's the puzzle solution:
- Left statue (Ser Dheon): points forward
- Middle-left statue (Ser Ifean): points backwards
- Middle-right statue (Ser Cruach): points to his left
- Right statue (Ser Rian the Red): points to her right
Return to the tower door, which should now be unlocked, and claim your prize: three treasure chests that house equipment, including a unique one-handed weapon.
