Astel, Naturalborn of the Void: Boss Fight Strategy
Astel, Naturalborn of the Void would be beautiful if it wasn't so deadly. Right from the beginning of this fight, you're going to be targeted by lasers which could potentially one-shot you, so dodge out of the way and get your favourite Summon Spirit ready. If you have any ranged attacks, like Spells, fire them at its head as you approach, being careful of those aforementioned lasers. When you're close enough, target its head as much as possible, because Astel, Naturalborn of the Void's body is armoured, and thus will take less damage.
At points during the fight, Astel, Naturalborn of the Void will teleport. You need to be really carefully it doesn't teleport above you and grab you, because that's an instant death. Swing your camera around and make sure it's on the other side of the arena, then repeat the process described above: dodge lasers, use spells when possible, and close the gap again so you can hit its head. The foe may also launch a meteor show, which is best avoid by dodge-rolling to the left until it ends. Assuming you get your timing right, many of these attacks will go right through you.
You can generally do quite a lot of damage in close proximity to Astel, Naturalborn of the Void, you just need to be careful when it lifts its arms up and slams the ground. The best thing to do here is to run away if possible, but if you can't get any separation then raise your shield and try to tank through it, then continue to dish out damage. Very little changes throughout the fight, so just be observant of those teleportation moves and whatever you do don't let Astel, Naturalborn of the Void grab you as that'll end the fight instantly. Once you've finished the fight, remember to touch the Site of Grace, and now you can continue with Ranni the Witch's quest.
