Final Fantasy 16: Bomb King Location and How to Beat

Bomb King is one of the Notorious Mark Hunts in Final Fantasy 16.

Location: The Crock, Sanbreque - only appears after taking on the side quest Weird Science, and then you can find it in The Crock, which is off the path on The Imperial Chase — a part of the map that can be hard to see, but it's joined to the Dragon's Aery in the south

Reward: 20 renown, 9,000 gil

Combat Tips:

• The Bomb King is a mostly straightforward monster to fight, but you need to be aware of its unique abilities
• Its standard attacks are easy enough to avoid, but when it's on low HP, it'll start throwing out multiple fire spells at a time, so be patient
• The main thing to watch out for in this battle is when the Bomb King summons other bombs, with additional bombs appearing as its HP gets lower and lower
• Resist the temptation to go in and attack these extra bombs. Although they don't have much HP, they're not really here to fight. Instead, after a few seconds, they'll start casting spells and then self destructing. Just make sure you're out of their range when they explode, and you won't have much to worry about
  
• When the bombs do erupt, be sure to watch out for the flames they leave behind
