God of War Ragnarok: How to Beat Cursed Gulons 1

Cursed Gulons are four-legged, dog-like beasts that tend to attack in packs of two or three. They're fairly standard foes, but some of their attacks can be quick and surprisingly unpredictable.

It's best to stay on your guard around these enemies, before smashing them with strong attacks once they're open. You'll also want to make sure that you're not surrounded.

A handful of well-placed blows should be enough to kill a Gulon, as they have low health — but do watch out for a specific lunging attack that they use at midrange. If it hits, this strike will stagger Kratos, opening him up to attacks from other foes.

Poisonous acid attacks can also be an issue if Gulons aren't killed quickly. They can spit this substance from a distance, and so sticking close to these beasts can often pay off.
