God of War Ragnarok: How to Beat Hel-Raider Chiefs

Hel-Raider Chiefs are essentially just undead versions of Raider Chiefs, and so the same tactics apply.

Raider Chiefs are large humanoids who wield clubs — and sometimes, the clubs are on fire. They can be deceptively fast despite their size.

Chiefs will attempt to catch you off guard with a quick weapon jab when they're close, so it's a good idea to have your shield up. Their other attacks are relatively slow, but they can hit like a truck — the unblockables in particular.

And of course, as you can probably tell from their stature, Chiefs tend have a lot of health. However, they do stun fairly easily, so a barehanded onslaught isn't a bad approach, especially if you can dodge to the side or behind a Chief after they unleash a slower club smash.
