Horizon Forbidden West: How to Solve Relic Ruins: The Dry Yearn

This Relic Ruin is located to the east of Scalding Spear, inside what looks like an old railroad tunnel. Above is where it appears on the map. Note: Before you can complete Relic Ruins: Dry Yearn, you will need to know how to get past Metal Flowers. Aloy will gain this ability after completing the Main Quest, Seeds of the Past. How to Complete Relic Ruins: The Dry Yearn

Follow these steps to complete Relic Ruins: The Dry Yearn and collect Ornament #3: Weekend Getaway.

When you enter the tunnel, you will see a Metal Flower on the left-hand side. Go to it and clear it to open up a small room. Inside is a crate you can move around. Grab it and bring it out into the main area.

Drag the crate over to the far side so you can climb up to a raised walkway. Up here, raise the blast door with the wheel. When you raise the blast door, it will slowly slide back down. Go through before it shuts.

In this new area, there's another crate on the left. Pull it out so you can get to the walkway above. Up here is a locked door.

Back on the ground, use the Pullcaster to bring down the rubble at the far end of the tunnel. This reveals a mine cart you can pull along the tracks. You'll need it shortly.

Go back to the blast door. On the left you will see some beams you can pull down. Use the Pullcaster to bring all three down.

Climb the handholds on the blast door. The topmost one will break; at this point, press Circle to leap directly backwards, and you should land on the first of those beams you lowered. Use them to reach the key you need for that locked door.

Unlock the door and head through. Use the Pullcaster to open the vent inside the room on the left.

Clamber through to the other side and you'll be in a new area with some Firegleam. Blow it up and head through. You're back on the other side of the blast door.

Open the blast door again. You need to use the mine cart from earlier to block the door open.

Back on the other side of the blast door, use the mine cart to start climbing up and to the left again. When you reach the top, pull down the wall.

Head through and drop down to the walkway, and pick up the Ornament.
