It's been pretty obvious ever since the game was first announced, but Captain America is not dead in Marvel's Avengers. The superhero makes his triumphant return towards the end of the single player narrative and is then playable in the Avengers Initiative post-campaign story. He also comes with his own set of skills, abilities, and movement mechanics. He is just as fleshed out as any other main character in the game, so you won't have to worry about being at a disadvantage. You will have to commit more time if you want to level him up properly, since you've unlocked him at the end of the campaign, but we're sure you're chomping at the bit to do that anyway,
