Marvel's Spider-Man 2: How to Switch Characters

How do you switch characters in Marvel's Spider-Man 2? One of the biggest things about the PS5 game is you can play as both Peter Parker and Miles Morales, and switch between them whenever you like. As part of our Marvel's Spider-Man 2 guide, we're going to reveal how to switch characters.

How Do You Switch Characters in Marvel's Spider-Man 2?

Switching between playing as Peter Parker and Miles Morales is tied to the FNSM App, or rather the mobile phone they both carry. Once you've unlocked the ability to change characters, swipe left on the Touch Pad and the FNSM App should appear on the right-hand side of your TV screen. If you look at the bottom of it, you should see the option to "Switch to Peter" or "Switch to Miles", depending on who you're currently playing as. When you see that, hold down the Square button and the game will change your character to the other Spider-Man and you'll start playing as them. If you have trouble using the Touch Pad, you can select an option in the pause menu that brings up the FNSM App in-game.

Note that at certain times the game will take away the ability for you to switch characters for story purposes, and some Missions require you to play as a specific Spider-Man in order to start them. This will be indicated in the FNSM App.
