After beating the PS5 game once, you may be wondering if you can go through it again and carry over your abilities from the first playthrough. Is There New Game+ in Marvel's Spider-Man 2?

At launch, Marvel's Spider-Man 2 doesn't have New Game+. When you beat the game, you will return to the open world and be able to complete any optional Missions you missed or find the rest of the Collectibles. This way, you can unlock the Platinum Trophy. Your only option for starting a new game would be to return to the game's main menu and start a new playthrough from there. However, you'll have to start from scratch and won't have any of the abilities from your first playthrough already unlocked. The only thing you'll get for beating the game is a new difficulty mode called Ultimate.

The good news is developer Insomniac Games will update the game in December 2023 with New Game+. Very likely accompanied by new Trophies, you'll be able to carry over your abilities and Suits into a second playthrough once that update has been released.
