Silent Hill 2: How to Get the Rifle

How do you get the Rifle in Silent Hill 2? How do you unlock the Armory and get the Hunting Rifle in Silent Hill 2? When you reach Toluca Prison, you'll soon find a Rifle locked inside a cabinet in the Armory. In this Silent Hill 2 guide, we're going to reveal how to get the Rifle.

How Do You Get the Rifle in Silent Hill 2?

The Rifle is locked away inside a cabinet in the Armory of floor 1F Main Section; you should spot it very shortly after you enter the prison. In order to obtain it, we'll need to complete the first main section of the area. When you've correctly placed the weights on the Scales in the Yard to unlock the Headless Serpent door, head through the cell block and solve the Witness Room Generator puzzle at the end. Having unlocked it and sent the area into a lockdown, grab the Medium Weight from the chair in the Death Chamber and return to the main cell block area. In Cell E10, you can squeeze through a gap in its right-hand wall to reach a room with the Armory Key. Follow the new path open to you back through to floor 1F Main Section and use the newly-found key to unlock the cabinet containing the Rifle.
