The Last of Us 2: Patrol - All Collectibles: Artefacts, Trading Cards, Journal Entries, Workbenches, Safes

Where do you find all Artefacts, Trading Cards, Journal Entries, Workbenches, and Safes in the Patrol chapter of The Last of Us 2? This section sees Ellie and Dina out on patrol, clearing out any infected to ensure Jackson remains safe. There are 6 Artefacts, 2 Trading Cards, 2 Journal Entries, 1 Workbench, and 1 Safe to find. Continuing our The Last of Us 2 guide, we’re going to reveal the locations of all collectibles in Patrol, in the order that you'll encounter them.

Journal Entry #1

After dismounting Shimmer and tying her up, follow Dina to a lookout point overlooking the snowy horizon. Trigger the optional conversation, and once it's over you'll be given the option to log your first Journal Entry (See Also: The Last of Us 2: All Journal Entries).

Artefact #1: A Note to Santa

After you leave the first lookout tower on horseback, there's a moment where Ellie will ask Dina if the pair should check out the trailers and houses they're exploring. To the left of the road is a relatively intact house, and if you climb up its stairwell you can enter a bedroom through a broken window. The Artefact (See Also: The Last of Us 2: All Artefacts Locations) is in the drawer to the right of the bed.

Trading Card #1: Tesseracter

Search behind the trailer to the right of the main road and look for a truck parked outside a house. Climb up it and jump through the window into the bedroom. To the left of the room is a cabinet next to a clothes rail. You'll find the Trading Card (See Also: The Last of Us 2: All Trading Cards Locations) on the middle shelf.

Artefact #2: Supermarket Apology

Following a brief encounter with some Runners, Dina will ask you to help boost her onto the roof of a postal van. Follow the path under the abandoned truck and you'll be attacked by another stray Runner, which Dina will kill. To the right of this scene is a building you can enter, with the truck's trailer rammed through its wall. Head into the truck's trailer and squeeze through the gap of boxes.

Artefact #3: Good Boy Combo

Once you've successfully infiltrated the supermarket, there's a moment where you'll have to put your gas mask on to protect you from spores. Cut through the crack in the wall and you'll be facing an Employee of the Month billboard. To the right of this is a metal door. Open it and enter the room. The Artefact is on the desk, to the right of the Safe.

Safe #1

The Safe is in the same room as Artefact #3, to the left of the desk. You need to refer to the Employee of the Month billboard to find the combination. The Safe Combination Code (See Also: The Last of Us 2: All Safe Code Combinations) is 072013, and the contents include Spare Parts and Supplement Pills. Artefact #4: Eugene's Firefly Pendant

After the storm, you'll take refuge in a public library. You'll need to break a window to gain access to an office back room. Go through the door to the rear of this room and Ellie will pick up a Firefly pendant which belongs to Eugene.

Journal Entry #2

In the children's section of the library, shortly after you've grabbed Eugene's Firefly Pendant, you'll spot a stuffed giraffe on some book shelves. Interact with it to score your second Journal Entry of the chapter.

Trading Card #2: Laurent Foucault, CEO SPARK

Head left when walking away from the stuffed giraffe toys, and you'll happen upon a crowded storage room with some comic books on a desk. You can't miss the Trading Card in the middle.

Artefact #5: Photo of Tommy and Eugene

Follow the children's library around, and you'll spot some documents on a desk at the back of the room. It's against the same wall as an abandoned PlayStation 3 console (See Also: The Last of Us 2: All Easter Eggs), located to the right. Interact with the documents on the table, and Ellie will find the photo before adding it to her inventory.

Artefact #6: Eugene's Ultimatum

Opposite the desk with the Photo of Tommy and Eugene is a bed, with a chest of drawers situated next to it. Open the top drawer and the Artefact is inside.

Workbench #1

After starting the generator, this is almost impossible to miss. The Workbench (See Also: The Last of Us 2: All Workbench Locations) is in the corridor directly opposite the generator.
