Ready for silly season? The earlier months of 2021 are going to seem blissful when you realise how many top notch games are making their way to PlayStation 5 and PS4 in the next few weeks. October and November are stuffed with titles big and small you'll want to pay attention to, so let's not waste any more time and get straight to it, yeah? Here's everything coming up on PS5 and PS4 in the next two months.

FIFA 22 - 1st October
It's the football game! Well, the big one at least. FIFA 22 is this year's incarnation of the annual soccer sim, implementing some important changes to gameplay and animation. HyperMotion technology, and tweaks to the physics and AI, make this a more realistic game of footie. You're either in or out on this type of game, but this year's FIFA is a step forward where it counts.
Far Cry 6 - 7th October
The Far Cry series is a very popular one, and it's not hard to see why. Chaotic open worlds full of danger and opportunities to blow stuff up, these huge shooters offer up big dumb fun, and usually deliver. Far Cry 6 takes the action to Yara, a fictional island on the verge of revolution due to the actions of a tyrannical leader. Expect crazy weaponry, animal companions, and lots of explosions.
Call of Duty: Vanguard - 5th November
This holiday season is packed with big first-person shooters, and that of course includes this year's Call of Duty. This time, we're going back to World War II, with a campaign that follows the stories of the first group of special forces soldiers. A cinematic story combined with all the multiplayer you know and love should make for yet another top notch shooter.
Battlefield 2042 - 19th November
Another big FPS coming to PS5 and PS4 is Battlefield 2042. Taking the action to a near-future setting, this is a multiplayer-only game with an emphasis on large scale firefights. While all the classic Battlefield modes are included, this entry also includes Battlefield Portal, allowing players to create their own maps and modes and share them with the community, and Hazard Zone, an intense co-op mode. This one looks jam-packed with interesting ways to play.

Welp, that's a pass on everything here - not even remotely interested in any of it (I WOULD have been interested in Star Wars Racer, but I platinum'd the digital release in 2 hours on the PS4). Good thing too, I want to concentrate on my backlog.
Apparently these games can be bought from Amazon 😳😆 I'm imagining this article as a man with an open rainmac nodding at the game cases hanging off the coats lining.
Monkey Ball doesn't have Monkey Target so I don't know why they bothered. Lots of games there but nothing that's we haven't seen 100 times before. Not that exciting at all really. Just sequels and guff. I suppose I can raise my head for BF but probably after launch. Most likely it will a mess for a month as usual.
No intention of getting Far Cry 6.
Never played a Far Cry game.
Probably never will.
@hypnotoad ...My Friend Peppa Pig on the other hand .....
Will get Far Cry 6 but will wait a few months, got AC Valhalla for 30€ just 3 months after release. Otherwise I'm looking forward to Metroid Dread next week (but that is ofc no PS game)
Would have been Nickelodeon All Stars but I'll probably be playing it on Switch for the Smash-like controls. Honestly some good picks here but nothing really I'll be buying. Story of Seasons runs incredibly poorly on Switch when it really shouldn't, so idk if it'll be much better on PS4.
FIFA (already have)
FarCry6 (but will just get 1 month of Ubisoft+ on PC)
Sherlock Holmes
Will wait for the 60fps patch for Demon Slayer and Reviews for GOTG
My cousin want me to play New World with him. So that would probably suck all my time and kill everything on the list 😅
Far Cry / House of Ashes / Alan Wake. Death Stranding in the meantime, well into it now
My birthday in November so I'll probably have to add all the games to my list or I will get moaned at.
Far Cry 6 is an obvious one as I've played them all.
Guardians Of The Galaxy to me looks surprisingly fun and decent.
Games that are digital only I will be able to buy Day One such as House Of Ashes even though I know it won't be a patch on Until Dawn.Project Zero..absolutely stoked for this game!
And lastly Voice Of Cards which I'm more excited for than I ever thought I would be!
Just got Hotwhells Unleashed - Challenge Accepted Edition Physical on the 30th. I will pick up Guardians Of The Galaxy thats about all this month.
Blaze, peppa pig and pj masks, the kids are gonna have a great time
Alan Wake then Battlefield to round out the year on PlayStation. My Switch will likely be much more active this quarter.
I'm a sucker for the Far Cry games. It's just mindless fun after work.
Alan Wake and Guardians of the Galaxy is about the only things worth getting from this list.
Far cry 6 is going to be f**king sick!
Far Cry, Battlefield and Guardians of the Galaxy looking interesting, imo. If they turn out great I'll be down for picking them up sometime over the next few months but I'm only sold on a couple Switch games right now (Metroid, SMT V).
Give me Fatal Frame and GIVE IT TO ME NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!! PLEEEEEEEEASE BUY THIS GAME EVERYONE!!!!!
Sad releases for playstation...
Nintendo in other hand is getting Metroid dread in October and SMT V in November.
Not too many PS5 games that I want for the rest of the year so far but I will pick up...
Alan Wake Remastered
Crysis Remastered Trilogy
A Plague Tale Innocence
The Dark Pictures: House of Ashes
Kena: Bridge of Spirits
I've pre ordered bf2042 but nothing else there i really want..maybe farcry 6 in a generous sale in about 2 months...just bought diablo 2 and it wont let me go..
@Originut doesn't matter, its all bought and paid for 😁👍
Alan wake remastered is $30 not $25, at least on the psn.
I didn't realise Voice of the Cards was coming out so quickly....
For me - Alan Wake, I’ve played all of the far cry games but I’m skipping this one. I haven’t figured out why yet but I am. I’m also skipping call of duty abs picking up battlefield this year. House of ashes looks good. No one mentioned back for blood???
@Willbdon45 the wacky guns in this years farcry dont really do it for me.
Im interested in back4blood. Hopefully I can motivate some friends to buy it too. We're going to VR gaming next week to kill some zombies so hopefully that will get them hyped lol
Hmm depending on reviews, I may pre-order Alan Wake and Guardians of the Galaxy...as for the rest I will just wait a year or two for deep sales on everything.
We all know the reason Battlefield got delayed, Peppa Pig was releasing that day and nobody can compete with that masterpiece.
All jokes aside i always have fun with Far Cry and having Esposito as the antagonist is a huge plus.
Far Cry 6, Crysis Remastered Trilogy, & Guardians of the Galaxy for me this month.
I really loved Far Cry 5 and look forward to 6.
Hmm, nothing on this list is a buy for me. Going to be 3 more months of working on my backlog and I just added tales of arise and death stranding DC to it, so I don't mind
@hypnotoad you're only missing mind numbingly boring shooters
