A Fond Farewell PSW Magazine.

Much as there is snobbery within the gaming press, we've always been fans of some of the more "mainstream" Playstation press. Sadly with stunted interest in Playstation, and a declining demand in printed press, PSW magazine are to say goodbye.

"It's always incredibly sad when we close a title as established as PSW, but the decision was taken in response to decreasing demand," games portfolio publishing director James Binns told MCV.

Thankfully the ex-PSW staffers are to move on to somewhere else within the company and should continue work in a new, albeit slightly familiar, environment.

With PSM3, Official Playstation Magazine UK and PLAY already covering the magazine Playstation circle, you can see why one of them might lose out. It's just a shame for PSW it was them.
