Enterbrain prez Hirokazu Hamamura said at today's Foreign Correspondents' Club of Japan that the Playstation 3 could well see sales around the 500,000 mark for the week of Final Fantasy XIII's release. We're sure you'll agree, that's a monumental figure.

Sony are already working closely with Square Enix to ensure that a great Playstation 3 bundle is shipped out of the door to coincide with the game's release. It's going to be really interesting to see what happens. Personally, we can't wait.
