It'll be enjoyable in short two-player chunks, rather than full-on romps through the single-player campaign. Robert Bowling told VG247 that the reason full co-op for the single-player experience wasn't included was because it "really broke the cinematic experience, took the immersion out of it, out of the story and the pacing and everything we'd spent so long crafting". Bowling also went as far as stating that it "ruined the experience" Infinity Ward were looking for. Alas, that means they've spent the time crafting Modern Warfare 2's single-player as just that — an experience to be played alone.
We're quite thankful for that.
