According to unconfirmed reports on NeoGAF, the PS3 is due to get a firmware update this coming December 10th
The NeoGAF thread suggests that the firmware updated, number 3.15, will include a fix for DualShock 3 pairing issues, the ability to transfer data between to PS3s via an ethernet cable and, the afore mentioned ability to play PSP Minis on the PS3.
Hold tight folks. We've still no confirmation, but we expect if the date is correct we'll hear more soon.
