Close, Not Close Enough, But Valiant All The Same.

See, the thing is, not only was I getting a little tired of the hunt, I'd also made contingency plans. "I'm never going to hit 2,000 with just old games," I told myself, "Need to strengthen my backlog by two games, and I'll do it easily."

Of course, said two games are still stuck somewhere in the postal system, even though it's been 6 days since dispatch. So I never quite hit my target. But I think I did really well - not only did I strengthen my platinum count by 2, I'm also agonisingly close to hitting 3 more platinums in the near future (which I'll do inbetween reviews). So I ended up 40 trophies short of my target.

Still I got 104 trophies over the 11 day period - roughly 10 a day, which is quite impressive when you consider I was playing only games I'd already beaten.

The whole idea of the exercise was to force me into replaying some older games, and get a better understanding of just how the trophy system works.

I will update when I eventually reach the 2,000 trophy point. I suspect it'll be in the next week.
