In the interview, he describes the system as bollocking useless waste of space.

Well, speaking as a person who bought a PSP, the problem was that I always thought because it was a better screen than iPods that Id be doing more with it. But it was such a bollocking useless waste of space; just getting stuff on it was ridiculous.
That was its downfall. Relatively speaking, [Codemasters] didnt do too badly on F1 PSP. But regarding the future, I think theyve got well no.</blockquote>
And of the PSPgo:

PSPgos a lovely device. It's really smart but our senior VP bought one the day it came out and has a great story, because he ended up on some customer support line just trying to do basic stuff. He had to re-download his software, do an immediate firmware update, and thats your user experience.</blockquote>
Speaking on a personal level, we haven't had one squib of trouble getting content on our PSP, but if people are having difficulty (which inevitably it seems they are), then it's an area Sony could definitely improve.
From a business stance we're sure Gavin has his reasoning for disliking the system, but his criticism seems a little subjective in reality. There are definitely improvements Sony can make to the platform, but it's still the first non-Nintendo handheld to really compete in the space.
