It's awesome when a franchise becomes so big that it earns its own spin-off novel
Resident Evil has a whole line of novels dedicated to the escapades of Jill and Chris Valentine. And now Dead Space is about to get the same treatment.
Written by B. K. Evenson, and published by Tor Books - Dead Space: Martyr follows the story of Michael Altman, the geophysicist who first discovers, erm, unusual happenings pertaining to the franchise's "Black Marker" relic.
The book's due for release in July. It'll cost $14.99.
