has finally dropped the bomb regarding the upcoming F.E.A.R. 3. It's explicitly written F.E.A.R. 3 everywhere, despite the logo spelling out the rather dodgy F.3.A.R.

Alas, the shooter's due on Playstation 3 this Fall. It'll of course feature the series' antagonist Alma, alongside "Point Man", the original game's lead. The game's going to include multiplayer co-op, with players controlling "Point Man" alongside a character known as Paxton Fettel. Apparently the game'll also have a "cover system".

So far, lots of boxes ticked.

Interestingly, F.E.A.R. 3's being developed by Day 1 Studios, the developer behind the console ports of the original game. Warner Bros has also brought horror director John Carpenter and writer Steve Niles on board. Niles has penned the script while Carpenter's helped craft the cinematics.

So now you know. Excited?
