Despite hardware shortages limiting the PS3's performance, Sony's home system still managed to shift a whopping 313.9K, just shy of the 360's 338K.
The most pleasing thing for Sony however, will be the number of Playstation 3 software titles in the top ten, of which there are four. God Of War III topped the charts with 1.1 million copies sold - a huge showing for Santa Monica's finale. MLB 10: The Show hit up the tenth spot, whilst Final Fantasy XIII and Battlefield: Bad Company 2's PS3 SKUs propped up the middle of the chart.
The PSP and Playstation 2 managed 119K and 118K respectively.
Hit the jump for all the figures.
