The rumours started with a domain name filing by the company last week. Since then, Kotaku has received a photograph of a GameStop placeholder box. Evidence which you can't really deny. So Ubisoft said, "Hey, yeah, you got us, Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood is our next game. And yes, it features Ezio."

In fact, the blurb of the placeholder box reveals more: "Live and breathe as Ezio, now a legendary master assassin, in his struggle against the Templar order. Lead your own brotherhood of Assassins and strike at the heart of the enemy: Rome. And for the first time, take part in an innovative multiplayer layer allowing you to embody an assassin of your choosing and define their killing style." Multiplayer, eh?

According to Ubisoft, there's more information due next week. We're curious as to how this multiplayer's gonna work.
