Ubisoft's told us that the game will boast a 15-hour campaign following Ezio's continued battle against the Templar Order in Rome. In order to trump his enemies, Ezio will recruit a "Brotherhood" (yes!) to unite against his enemies.
Ezio will once again team up with the likes of Da Vinci, Machiavelli, and Caterina Sforza, and he'll have access to an advanced flying machine, aswell as poison darts and parachutes.
Interestingly, in multiplayer you'll be using Abstergo to train an assassin with characters that each have their own signature weapons and assassination techniques. You'll be pitted against other assassins in various game modes. So it sounds like a kind of Assassin's Creed meets Team Fortress deal.
Have to say, we're not expecting the single-player to be radically different from Assassin's Creed II, so that's why we're most curious about the multiplayer. It sounds like there's some potential there. If its balanced and the game modes are fun, Ubisoft might just pull this off. It'll certainly be original - something multiplayer's been in need of for a long time. Personally, we're bored to tears of FPS deathmatch.
