Hulu, the American TV catch-up service, was available on the PlayStation 3
You could totally access it through the PS3's browser. It was later pulled, with speculation suggesting Microsoft had the service wrapped up for their XBOX Live subscribers. Alas, according to a report published by Bloomberg, Sony are close to securing a deal that will bring Hulu back to the PS3. Albeit with a subscription cost this time.
According to the source, "the partnership could be announced as soon as next week". Firmware 3.40's out next week. Just sayin'.
