In DJ Hero 2, that's set to change. Freestyle games are introducing a massive career mode called "Empire", in which you'll pick a brand and location and watch your DJ turn into a super-star as your reputation grows.

It sounds like a cool way to flesh out the dry experience of simply playing tracks for stars. We're quite looking forward to this.
