We had some reservations about the new mode but it actually sounds like quite good fun. Movement is handled with the left-stick, while diving is performed with the right. There are a number of on-screen visual aids in order to get you into position and make sure you're covering the goal.

It actually sounds quite interesting, though we imagine there'll be a lot of ball-watching if you choose to play as the 'keeper. Perhaps there'll be a command for taking a leak, Fabien Barthez style.
