Last week we brought you a look at the PlayStation Move's origins on PlayStation 2 in the form of some early tech demos, but now we have a collection of bang up-to-date demos showing how far the technology's come in six years.
As well as an updated form of the original sorcery demo showing the extra range of control afforded by the dual Move set-up, the video also shows off the system's advanced body-tracking capabilities by turning the user into a robot with giant crushing hands. Not really obviously – it's not that powerful yet – but the video makes Move's potential crystal clear.

These tech demos are so cool! I almost wish they would include the demos with the Move itself.
I still think the camcorder would be amazing in a game with a video editor like skate. You land an ollie on a five stair, then the game puts you in a different body at the bottom of the stairs with the camera in your hands so you can record the exact angle that you want, then follow the skater character into more tricks
That's a really cool idea hamispink, particularly with PS3 having a YouTube API that lets you record and upload straight to YouTube. Could result in some amazing stuff!
Very cool! The only thing I didn't like was the computer like interface with the windows. A multitouch screen/touchpad with the compy helping on window sizing is much more attractive and easy to look through (like on a mac). Even just a standard controller flipping through windows would be preferred (imho). For games this looks super sweet though. Too bad it's so expensive.
