Capcom's only released one title for PlayStation Move, the very good Resident Evil 5: Gold Edition, a new update to an 18 month-old game. Despite its age, the game has sold remarkably well, breaking into the charts again and making a great accompaniment to Move's hardcore credentials.
David Reeves, Capcom's European head, spoke to Eurogamer about the game's success and its relation to the rest of the line-up:
Resident Evil 5 Gold Edition we put out as Move compatible, and it's really surprised us. When you look at the line-up for Move it's a bit partyish; Resi Evil Gold is the best Move game out there and it's doing very well, it's a remarkable growth curve.
Whilst there's still plenty of non-party games out there, few, if any, have the brand power of Resident Evil. With the game now available for less than £20 it's no surprise core gamers with Move are flocking to it.

that does not surprise me re4 with remote controls were great why would this not be?
I haven't tried any Move games myself but I agree with danschemen. RE4 was great on the Wii so I'm assuming RE5 works just as well with motion controls.
I concure. A great game like Resident Evil 5 can only get better.
RE5 was my defining "so glad I bought a PS3" moment. Fixed everything I didn't like about RE4 and then some. Only good thing about RE4 were the controls on the Wii version imo, and now they're exceeded...and I don't have to play RE4 with them
Although I did not enjoy the game that much, the Move controls were pretty good. But what's with Capcom praising its own games? Build a game that talks for itself, and the fans will come out with all the praise for it.
For me personally, the best Move experience so far has been Tumble. Not only is it a great Move game, but one of the best games ever on PSN.
