More Assassin's Creed? Really? C'Mon Ubisoft, Don't Run It Into The Ground.

We're letting Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood slide because we think it looks amazing. That said, we're not sure Ubisoft can continue making yearly installment of Assassin's Creed. The franchise needs space to breathe and grow, so it's a little worrying to hear Ubisoft's CEO Yves Guillemot touting more Assassin's Creed for 2011.

“There will be something around Assassin’s,” Guillemot said when asked about the company's plans for the franchise in 2011. “That’s the only thing we can say.”

Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood is due this week across Europe and North America. We're pretty excited to get our hands on it, but we're pretty sure we can survive next year without our historical platforming fix. Don't run a great franchise into the ground Ubisoft, give it time to mature.
