PlayStation Home Might Not Be For Everyone, But It's Definitely Come A Long Way Since '08.

The original app was admittedly barren, and it's proving a challenge for Sony to convince users to give it another go. On the social network's second birthday, Sony's released an infographic detailing the service's growth. Most importantly, the infographic details the service's growth in content, a number more eye-opening than the questionable user statistics.

Home is better than it's ever been. That's not to say the service is for everyone, but we certainly urge people to give it another try. The social network's found its niche with clever little meta-games, and Sony clearly understands that. Novus Prime is the latest meta game in the virtual world, providing a multiplayer space shooter experience with a variety of customisable options. Sony's also touting the release of Conspiracy (an espionage meta-game) and Sodium 2 (the sequel to the popular jet combat game) in 2011.

It took too long for Sony to hit their stride in Home, but we really do feel like they've ended up with something that works. Unfortunately, no matter how hard we push the improvements, people will always remember queuing for bowling alleys and standing around pool tables.

Whether There's Spin On The Numbers Or Not, Home's Definitely Grown A Lot Since Its Launch.

Bit of a shame that.
