The list mostly includes older games from EA Sports, though we daresay some people will be disappointed at the decision. While the games will continue to operate as normal in a single-player capacity, it's the multiplayer components that will be stripped out.

“These decisions to retire games is never easy,” EA said on its website.

“The development teams and operational staff pour their hearts into these games almost as much as the customers playing them and it is hard to see one retired. We hope you have gotten many hours of enjoyment out of the games and we appreciate your ongoing patronage.”
