A. Noire</a> lately. The focus on the game's technology has really taken us away from the core of what's been developed here, and for that we apologise. The latest trailer for L.A. Noire has reminded us that behind Team Bondi's facial animation technology, there's actually going to be a video game. And it's totally won us over. The setting, the characters, the cases. Potential to be amazing: high.

We've always wanted to be a detective of some kind. Realistically we wouldn't have the stomach for murder cases, but in the context of a video game, we're totally on board. Check out the trailer after the jump. Hype. Steadily. Rising.

The game's due out May 17th in North America and May 20th in Europe.
